DESCRIPTION:FLAME University is conducting an interactive lecture demonstration on the 
 prominent Indian instrument, the Sitar on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 7 p
 m at Kalidas on FLAME campus. \nIn this demo lecture, Prof. Srinivas Reddy 
 will introduce the Sitar, which embodies ancient technologies and modern in
 novations. He will also discuss how the sitar represents the syncretic natu
 re of Hindustani raga music and will also cover aspects such as, instrument
  design, raga exposition, and aesthetic appreciation, as well as how the in
 strument is used in various genres, from classical raga music to Bollywood.
  The interactive session will also include a short sitar performance and am
