Students will also have the opportunity to ask her questions about navigating the transition from academics to a succe ssful career in journalism and digital media.\nSpeaker Bio:\nAnahita Sachde v is an accomplished journalist, video producer, and media professional wit h a distinguished academic and professional background. She earned her Bach elor of Arts as a Literary and Cultural Studies major with a minor in Film and Television from FLAME (2014-2018), where she was awarded the Gold Medal for Extraordinary All-Round Performance and the Silver Medal for Outstandi ng Scholastic Performance. She graduated with the highest rank in her speci alization and actively served as the chairperson of the FirstCut Internatio nal Student Film Festival.\n\nShe further pursued a Master of Science in Jo urnalism with Honours from Columbia University-Graduate School of Journalis m. Currently, she serves as a Senior Digital Producer at BBC News in New De lhi, after working as a video journalist in Washington, D.C., under BBC Nor th America's prestigious video fellowship.\n\nAnahita has won numerous acco lades, including the Laadli Media Award for Best Issue-Based Program (2022) for her work on "In Perspective," a video series covering gender, caste, a nd LGBTQ+ issues, for which she co-produced and edited over 300 videos.
